“I will tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”This way, people take oath in a court of law in the United States. People in other countries hold religious texts in their hands and swear that they will tell only the truth.
But there came a time when, the question itself as to WHAT IS TRUTH ?came up during the trial. This was in the court where Jesus the Son of God was tried. “For this reason I was born, and came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth, hears my voice. ”John; 18:37.When the Roman governor Pilate heard,these words of Jesus, he asked him back. ”What is truth? ”
During his life time Lord Jesus taught the truth. that bring true freedom,the truth that gives life and which leads to eternal life. Once, He told the Jews, who believed in him “ If you continue in my word you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.”John;8:31,32. then Lord Jesus said; ”I am the way ,the truth and the life.No one comes to the father ,but by me.John;14:6.Lord Jesus is the only person, ever said that “I am the truth.”
Lord Jesus came down to the earth, with a testimony from heaven .He came to witness to the Truth. He came with a testimony from God. He spoke the truths of God, to the world. And the Bible says “he who receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true.”John;3:33. The Bible makes it clear that, whoever is on the side of truth listens to Jesus and they certify that God is truthful. Jesus is the place where all the truth seekers will ultimately reach Apart from Jesus, no divine truth exists. The God in the Bible is a True God, and is the God of Truth. And there is no other.

Jesus Christ Is God's Answer To The World !
The
world was looking for answers .Religions were full of questions.Jesus
Christ came with answers.Lord Jesus had answers for the questions
religions could not provide.Jesus Christ came where religions
failed.The Greeks were interested in the subject of truth.Some of them
tried to find an answer to the question -What is truth ? They tried to
define the word truth in philosophical terms.In the east people like
Gautama Budha went around searching for answers. When Gautama saw the
poor the sick the old and the dead he asked why? Why suffering ?Why
poverty? Why old age and death?
In the Hindu tradition the ancient
monks prayed `O Lead me from darkness to light and from untruth to the
truth and from death to life.' Ancient Chinese and Japanese religions
were trying to find a way [Tao] Diogenis, a Greek philosopher walked
through the streets of Athens in the day time holding a lamp lit in the
his hands
complaining it was darkness everywhere. The Jews were
seeking after eternal life.One rich young Jewish ruler came to Jesus
asking,"Teacher what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
All
religions reflect some desire to come into union with God and look for
a way to reach Him.In the midst of all this Jesus Christ came into the
world as an answer from God. Lord Jesus came to a world filled with
darkness saying,"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will
never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."John;8:12 He
came to a hungry world saying,"I am the bread of life. He who comes to
me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be
thirsty."John;6:35 He came as the bread of life which gives life to a
dying world-dying because of sin and sickness and all that.To those who
are spiritually thirsty he says,"If anyone is thirsty,let him come to
me and drink. Whoever believes in me, streams of living water will flow
from within him."John;7:37,38 and He said,"Whoever drinks the water I
give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in
him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."John;4:14
He
made it clear to his disciples saying that he is the only way to God.
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me." John;14:6
To those who believed in him the
Lord said,""If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."John ;
8:31,32 To those who were seeking eternal life,he said,"He who believes
in me has everlasting life."John;6:47 and "I am the resurrection and
the life.He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and
whoever lives and believes in me will never die."John;11:25,26
Lord
Jesus came with answers and not with questions.He knew what was going
on here on earth.He knew what to do about it.Jesus began his ministry
saying"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath
anointed me to preach good tidings unto the poor; he hath sent me to
bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the
opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the
acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to
comfort all that mourn."Isaiah;61:1-3 This is what he came to do.This
has been recorded in the gospel about his ministry "The people living
in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the
shadow of death a light has dawned."Mathew;4;16
Jesus Christ is the Word [ Logos ] became flesh as we read in the
Gospel of John;"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning. Through him
all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
In him was life, and that life was the light of men." John;1:1-4 "The
Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."John;1;14
Jesus Christ Is God In Human Form !
"In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made;
without him nothing was made that has been made."John;1;1-5
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."John;1;14
Jesus Christ is the Word [Logos] by whom all things were made, became flesh.In other words Jesus Christ was God in human form.
Since
Jesus began his earthly ministry,He spoke to his disciples about God
the Father in heaven.He taught them how to pray to the heavenly Father
and explained to them how to become the children of the
Living God.
When
the ancient philosophers and wise men spoke about God as Cosmic Power
and Superhuman Element and all that,not knowing what they were
saying,Jesus Christ revealed the true nature of God,in whose image man
was made.Lord Jesus Christ always spoke about God the Father
and finally the disciples expressed the disire to see the Father.
Then
the Lord Jesus told them."Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.
How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?Don't you believe that I am in
the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are
not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing
his work."John;14;9,10 And he said," I and the Father are
One."John;10;30 While Jesus was on earth he did the works no one else
could ever do and he spoke the words no one else has ever spoken,
His disciples who walked with Jesus stated."And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world."1 John;4;14
"For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not
send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world
through him."John;3;16,17
The
Holy Bible says,"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact
representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful
word."Hebrews;1;3
Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God.
"No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,who is at the Father's side, has made him known." John;1;18
My dear friend,Are you on the side of the Truth?Are you a seeker of the truth and do you love truth?If
so know for sure that Jesus Christ is the Truth.He is God's
Truth.If you believe in Him you will know the truth and the truth will

."Lord Jesus I am on the side of truth.I want to know the
